This year, Vista United Methodist Church is joining together with LifePoint Church to hold a combined VBS! We are using the program “Hometown Nazareth – Where Jesus Was a Kid.” This will serve as an extension to our Walk Through Bethlehem, where the children will get to hear stories and perform songs and crafts related to what it was like growing up in Jesus’ time. The VBS will occur from June 22-26 from 9:30 – 11:30 am, and it will be held at LifePoint in Catalina (3137 E. Everett St.) Vista will have registration forms in the Administrative Building office, and they are also available online at https://www.groupvbspro.com/vbs/hl/catalinavbs. Men's Rally March 10, 2015

Posted on February 9, 2015 at 4:50 PM Comments comments (0)

I am writing to invite you to the 2015 edition of the Men's Rally sponsored by

SaddleBrooke Community Church. Last year over sixty men gathered together

to learn new skills in Bible study, make new friends and be challenged in their

walk with God. There is something special about taking a day off from our

normal routines to learn with others. This year I have chosen the theme,

Finishing Well, to tie together our sessions. Since the Scriptures are key to

fulfilling our dreams, we will sharpen our skills in Bible interpretation and application.

The sessions will be mixed with teaching and group activity so that we can learn and

practice together. During the last session, I would like to challenge us all to finish

well by becoming men of the Book.

The Rally takes place on Tuesday, March 10, at the Wycliffe Center in Catalina from

9:30 am to 1:30 pm. The cost is $12 that includes the materials, snacks, drinks and

lunch. Please pass on this email to a friend who might want to join you and meet

some new friends. You can register by emailing Kerry Blount at ktblount@gmail.com.
