Stations of the Cross

The Stations of the Cross garden will be open every Friday leading up to Easter at the Santa Catalina Catholic Church, 14380 N Oracle Rd, at 5:00pm. On Good Friday, April 18, 2014, the Stations of the Cross will begin at 3:00pm. Call 825-9611 for more information.

Ash Wednesday services March 5

Ash Wednesday services will be held at Catalina Lutheran Church, 15855 N. Twin Lakes Drive, on March 5th, at 9:00am and 7:00pm. Wednesday services will be held throughout Lent, on the following Wednesdays, with the evening services preceded by a soup supper at 6:00pm. Call 825-9255.


Ash Wednesday services will also be held at the Vista de la Montana United Methodist Church, 3001 E. Miravista Lane, at 12:00 noon and 6:00pm on March 5th. Call 825-1985.

The focus will be praying for the community and specific areas of concern in Catalina.

Catalina needs our prayers! Please join us for our Catalina Community Prayer and Praise Night, Sunday, June 2, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Catalina, 3505 E. Wilds Rd. Our focus this month will be to pray for some of the organizations that serve Catalina. Representatives from Family First, Catalina Community Services, Good News Club, the Snak Pak Program and SaddleBrooke Community Outreach will be sharing the good work being done through their organizations for our community. A love offering will also be taken for those who wish to contribute to these organizations.

Pathway of Hope Women’s Ministry Presents PRAYING IN COLOR

Guest Speaker: Patti Gibble 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the home of Evalyn Kelly

           Pathway of Hope’s Women’s Ministry is delighted to launch our 2013 Events Calendar by featuring Patti Gibble of Victory

Worship Center who will be teaching from the book, Praying in Color. Praying in Color guides you in drawing a new way to

connect with God. Patti will use a fun drawing exercise, as well as sharing her own experiences in allowing God to draw a

new pathway through you. Bring your "child-like" faith, your open heart, your favorite crayons, and wear your favorite colors to this amazing colorful session with God!"

          Please bring a dish to share with at least 6-8 people. Light refreshments will be provided compliments of the Women’s Ministry.

May 2: National Day of Prayer event in SaddleBrooke

National Day of Prayer is May 2 this year and there will be prayer events held all around the Tucson area. One event that will be close to those living in Catalina will be a prayer and praise meeting in SaddleBrooke. It will be held at the Mountain View Club House, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. The whole community of Catalina is invited to come together for a time of praise music and prayer from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. Hosted by Pathway of Hope Church and LifePoint Church, this event will be held at LifePoint Church, 3137 E Everett St.

 


Prayer Walk on January 5, 2013

Join us to pray for our schools on Saturday, January 5, 2013. Meet at 10:00 am at the parking lot of the First Baptist Church (3505 E. Wilds Rd.). We will leave from there to walk and pray around Coronado School. Come and pray for as long as you can. We'll be praying for the faculty, staff, children and their families, and for God's protection as the kids begin their spring semester.
